Distance @ Westlake

We had our first JV meet of the season today. We squared off agaist Pleasant Grove and Westlake. We had numours PR's from from various athletes. Three guy broke 5:00 in the 1600 and a few where right on the edge of it. Melinda Garrard and Emily Bluth ran pr's in the mile. We where very proud of how well are athletes have prepare up to now and how well they ran today.

Austin Diede Won the 800 with blazing last lap moving up from 8th place and breaking under 2:10 for the first time.

Ty Davis in the first race of the season broke our freshman 1600m record with a time of 4:50.

Nancy Wang had a great first race of her running career, running a steller time 2:43 in the 800.

Joe Broadhead ran an amazing race breaking 5:00 for the first time in the 1600.
