THE PREDATOR RUN
This weeks primary goal for the distance squad was to refine race our race skill and to work together as a pack. Most of the athletes were instructed to go out together at a specific conservative pace and negative split after the first mile. We call this the "PREDATOR RUN" which we represent a Wolf Pack moving together to hunt their prey.
The team that gets the award for hitting their mark the best was Joey Nokes and Ty Davis. They were instructed to go out at 5:05 pace and close hard. They ran 5:00 for the first mile together. Joey was able to close in a 4:48 and ty closed in a 4:55. Joey and Ty currently have the 2nd and 3rd fast indoor 3200m times of All-Time.

Chandler Morgan get the overall individual winner. He was instructed to go out at 5:10 and close hard. He ran his first mile in 5:10 and closed his last mile in 5:00

Distance 400M
We had our more fast twitch distance runners run the 400. They performed very well. This might be our fastest distance squad on the boys side we have ever had. That should bode well for the 800m this season.
McKayla Lawson ran a 1:04
Isaac Garrard - 53
Talon Rodriguez - 54
Ben Coleman - 54
Jackson Maxfield - 55
