TIME TRIAL # 2, Camp and 5XMile

We are only a day a way from the upcoming season. We have had a great summer of training and I am sure that you guys are really excited to put that hard work to the test against the rest of the teams in Utah. Keep that fire and that desire that you had over the summer and let that passion grow as we keep on through the season.

Time Trial # 2

Time Trial # 2 went really good. The boys set the record for the most we have ever had sub 17:00 on our time trial course. This bodes well for the upcoming season. Both Easton and Tanner broke our sophmore time trial record. Ty and Joey ran our 2nd and 3rd fastest Junior times. Talon won the race with an impressive 16:19. That was the 3rd fastest in school history only behind Brady and Ethan.

The Girls time trial went well. This is one of the deepest teams we have ever had. With 8 Girls going sub 22:00 minutes. Our record is 9. That was from our girls team that took 5th and state and 15th at NXR. Sam Jacobson won the time trial followed by a very impressive race from Maddie Seegmiller.

Cross Country Camp

Cross Country Camp was really fun this year. Even with the new restriction and not able to stay overnight. Make sure to thank the parents that helped Especially Brooke and Scott Lewis, Marni Puzy and Marvelle Morgan. Camp wouldn't have been so great if it wasn't for them.

Day 1 - We ran Deer Creek Reservoir Trailhead(Wallsburg) and then ran Big Springs trailhead up South Fork Canyon. We went river rafting with the boat battles being pretty epic. We played games up south fork canyon(Spike ball, 9 Square, bocce ball etc.)

Day 2 - We went up tibble fork canyon. We ran some beautiful trails played in the Lake and relaxed and watched a movie.

Day 3 - Day 3 was the 5XMille at sugar house park. Talon and Sam claimed the individual titles. The team race came down to the very end with Tanner and Sean Battling it out. Tanner just edged out Sean to claim the team win.
