Riverton Silverwolves, 5A, Jump Team continue to register strong competition results this week, against eleven other schools at the Davis Super Meet, the seasons first Invitational / State Qualifying event.

Through the rain, snow, winds and cold weather Tuesday the future looks bright for Girls Long Jumper Abby Walker in her first State Qualifying event competition

Abby recorded an outstanding PR jump of 15' 10" placing her 6th at the Super Meet picking up three valuable team points and placing her 12th on the

Riverton all time record list in her quest to break the Girls school Long Jump record of 17' 2" by the 2016 State Event at BYU this May.

In the Boys competition on Wednesday a hot performance by the entire Jump Team attending the Super Meet helped burn the clouds off and raise the temperature

in Kayesville for some very outstanding performances in both the Long Jump and High Jump, where four of the six in competition recorded PR's, two jumpers Dalton McClees and

Colby Stone qualified for the State event at BYU both clearing 6' 1" in impressive form and two others just missing the elite State list with 6' 0" and 5' 10"

recorded marks from Carter Comish and Dallin Barnes respectively. Junior jumper Quinton Sorenson's 5' 6" performance was a recorded PR as well.

In the longest event of the meet Mitchell Wood continues to impress leading the Silverwolves Long Jump Pack of 15 competitors with a sand mark of 20' .50"

good enough to keep Mitchell in the elite 5A boys State Standings heading to the two BYU competitions in May.

Over all a fantastic effort by all jump team members that battled the stiff competition and weather this past week.
